World Wide Heads is an interactive visualization of the world’s animal live stock. The goal is to show the evolution of animal consumption from 1965 to 2005 in a sarcastic way. This project is for everyone who loves to eat meat like us and doesn’t always realize what are the real implications. Next to the abstract world map we display the Tweets about « Meat » and random flickr pictures in relation to the animals represented on the map. The Data

The informations we have are the stock of animals available on the planet, the number of animal slaughtered (units = heads) and the price of the meat per country. Those datas are available on the Faostat Website.
