Forel Exhibition - Musée du Léman
Forel Exhibition - Musée du Léman (Nyon, Switzerland) - 2014
A collection of four mobile apps using augmented objects for an exhibition around François Alphonse Forel (Study of Lakes Scientist), in the Leman Lake Museum in Nyon, Switzerland. Each app transforms a physical artifact into an interactive experience, blending tangible and digital storytelling. Powered by a technology from Les Éditions Volumiques (Paris).
Object Design & Production
➜ Design, prototype and produce the miniatures objects that would be detected by each game following the technology from Les Editions Volumiques.
Game & Interaction Design
➜ Contribute to design the interactions with tangible objects to create playful learning experiences.
➜ Contribute to transform science experiments into simple gameplay.
Geek Run - 2011/2012
Geek Run is an interactive installation that combines physical cubes with a digital game. Players move the cubes to guide the character through the game avoiding traps and obstacles, or creating new paths. The cubes contain no electronics; instead, a Kinect sensor detects their position based on their color.
Object Design & Production
➜ Prototype colored cubes in different sizes and testing different color references to work best with the detection system.
➜ Produce the cubes for the different versions of the game/installation, including big wooden cubes but also portable/stackable ones for a home version.
